What I have learned!
I have definatly learned more than I thought I would about digital design. I think I have a better understanding of what makes a good picture. I have found myself randomly thinking that something would make a really good picture. Photoshop is obviously an area that I have advanced my knowledge. I tried working the program before we started it in class, and it did not happen. Now, I can confidently say I can do pretty much anything in photoshop. I'm really interested in making panoramas. Its interesting to see so much area in one photo. I learned a little bit in Illustrator, but I know a lot more can be done with the program. It just takes some time to get used to. Throughout everything that I have learned I would say creating collages or funny pictures in photoshop is what I enjoyed most.

LoGo Website!
This site, http://www.ndesign-studio.com/resources/tutorials/3d-logo/, shows how to create 3D logos and 3D shapes. It tells the steps of making a word, then says the same steps can be applied in making 3D shapes, would could help some people out. I started out with a Google search, then just came across this site. I think it is really simple, but has the potential to be really helpful. This site also has tutorials for making other specific designs in illustrator. They include everything from pumpkins, trees, logo, and much more. I will defiantly use this site if it will help me in making my specific logo.

¡Panorama!

This is the view outside the back of my house. I first took a picture of my garage, then my neighbors house, then the left side of my back yard. To make the panoramic image I matched up the images then erased, with a really soft edge, the dividing lines of the pictures. I also had to add brightness to the pictures in order to match them all and to make the image easier to see. It wouldn't have been possible to take this picture and include all the surrounding in one image.
